The Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin is decommissioned station turned into a modern art museum. It is a massive space housing amazing exhibits, all in all a supremely inspiring location. The cavernous hall of the main building resonates deeply and possesses a lush natural reverberation, with a strangely pleasing metallic tone.
That very sound caught my imagination immediately. I tried to capture it as best as I could given the circumstances and after digital processing I came up with a series of resonant layers and rather organic, musical tones that I used to build this short piece.
